The robotic sentry is used to monitor your home from any part of the world via the internet controlled remote device. It has an inbuilt speaker and two way microphone for interaction with the subjects, moreover it has high audio and high-resolution (640 x 480).

The videos being formatted in MPEG4, which can take pictures and can be emailed anytime to the required place. Due to the 360° rotation of the wheels, it can be effective with nimble movements. The camera provides an ambient view of the surroundings.

The path of the device can be set manually for the patrol and it will move accordingly along the set route, detecting all the obstacles with it’s infrared sensor and will keep on doing so over and over again until it receives its new set of instructions.The battery backup is around is 2 hrs [rechargeable] and the power is drawn from the recharging base which is located by the infrared sensor.

The main requirements are Windows Vista, XP, Macintosh and wireless network.Weight is around 5 lbs and dimensions are 5″ H x 10 1/2″ L x 9″ W; (10″ H with camera). It should be kept out of reach of children below 8 yrs.
