Using the internet at work is usually not a great idea because even the most innocent of searches can have dire consequences when you click the wrong link and end up on a website that creates ten pop-ups whenever you close one. Playing games at school or work will also end badly if your boss should happen to pass by because that is not what we are paid to do.
A ton of software programs have been created to help us hide our internet searches and you can even try to hide your secret game playing. A gadget called Stealth Switch takes secrecy to another lever because it allows you to hide anything that is on your computer screen.
The Stealth Switch is a small mouse like gadget that you can place on your computer desk or on the floor at your feet. If you want instant privacy, you simply touch the stealth switch and the open windows or programs that you previously specified, will immediately disappear from your screen.
Other programs claim to do the same thing, but all they do is quickly or sometimes not so quickly, minimize your screen.
The stealth switch will make anything you want disappear from view entirely. This means that no one can look at your taskbar and see what you were up to before they walked by.
You can have the Stealth Switch setup to hide a specific window, program or game that may be open. Besides that, you can also set it to hide everything that is opened.
That is a great way to have all search windows disappear if you were to click on links and get a bunch of internet pop-ups.
You can now surf the internet, check email, play games, listen to music or watch movies and videos while keeping it all private if anyone should get to close to your desk. All sound will be muted, along with any disappearing applications and windows.
